Eligibility/Qualification:
- Must hold a relevant PhD/DPhil (or be near completion).
- Relevant experience in immunology and related disciplines.
- Expertise in T cell biology, immunology, cancer biology, metabolites, and mitochondria biology.
- Experience with ZEISS LLSM, ZEISS Elyra, ZEISS 980 confocal, PicoQuant FLIM, PicoQuant Luminosa, and bioimage analysis of fluorescence microscopy images.
- Demonstrated ability to manage academic research independently and contribute to research project development and income generation.
- Experience in managing a discrete area of a research project and collaborating on research publications is desirable.
Job Description:
- Manage your own academic research and administrative activities, including small scale project management.
- Develop new scientific techniques and experimental methods, and adapt existing ones.
- Act as a source of information and advice to BPI team members.
- Collaborate in preparing scientific reports, journal articles, and present papers and posters at conferences.
- Participate in MRC grant’s research programme led by Professor Marco Fritzsche.
- Conduct research that aligns with the goals of the Biophysical Immunology Lab.
