Job Description
The main goal of the ERC project CellWise is to achieve predictability in the design, analysis, and control of stochastic biomolecular circuits that govern complex cellular functions in vivo. Specific objectives include:
- Enable the predictive design of biocircuits with complex functions, incorporating noise and uncertainty.
- Understand and control nonlinear emergent behaviors in stochastic biomolecular networks.
- Engineer cellular cognition in microorganisms, including functions such as memory and decision-making.
- Elucidate and control cellular decision-making processes related to yeast aging and bacterial persistence.
