Eligibility/Qualification

  • MSc degree (or equivalent) in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Interest in security research and/or security engineering.
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary research environment.
  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English (knowledge of French, German, or Luxembourgish is a plus).

Job Description

The successful candidate will:

  • Conduct scientific research to advance cybersecurity in critical infrastructures, focusing on areas such as network security, IoT security, AI agents, security automation, and vulnerability discovery.
  • Collaborate with industrial and governmental partners to transfer research results into functional prototypes and technology demonstrators.
  • Contribute to the teaching activities of the Cybersecurity Master program and supervise Master students.
  • Present research findings at scientific conferences, journals, and technology events.
