Research Area

Eligibility/Qualification

  • Required: PhD in (Bio-)Physics, (Bio-)Chemistry, (Bio-)Engineering, or a related field. Expertise in microfluidics is essential.
  • Desirable: Experience in optical integration, advanced fluorescence microscopy, and automated assay development.

Job Description

  • Advance microfluidic assays and diagnostic systems.
  • Conduct independent and collaborative research, developing a distinct research profile in biomicrofluidics.
  • Collaborate on the design and technical implementation of microfluidic methods.
  • Pursue third-party funding, publish research, and present findings at conferences.
  • Develop and teach courses, supervise students, and engage in administrative tasks.
  • Opportunities to pursue habilitation.
