Eligibility/Qualification
- Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Applied Engineering/Industrial Science (Chemistry), or a related field.
- Demonstrated excellent academic performance.
- Proactive mindset toward scientific research.
- Enthusiastic and highly motivated.
- Experience with electrochemical systems (especially redox flow batteries) is a plus.
- Strong English language skills (C1 preferred).
- Effective planning and organizing skills, able to work independently.
- Commitment to quality, integrity, creativity, and cooperation.
Job Description
- Conduct research on battery design, operating conditions, and redox chemistry to enhance performance and longevity in redox flow batteries.
- Publish scientific articles and/or patents related to research.
- Assist in teaching tasks and provide research support to the Faculty of Applied Engineering.
- Study flow fields, scale-up, and stacking to optimize battery performance, with a focus on hydrodynamics and in-situ characterization techniques.
- Total scholarship duration of one year, extendable up to four years upon positive evaluation.
