🧾 Job Description:
Project Title: Neurons Engineered with MagnEto-SwItches: a tool for Shaping the Nervous System (NEMESIS)
Position 1 – WP3 Focus (Selection Code: CDR_bio_2025_2_1):
- Investigate the molecular mechanisms of mechanotransduction.
- Use fluorescence microscopy and biophysical methods to study single-molecule dynamics.
- Work with primary neurons, organotypic cultures, and differentiated neurons.
- Supervise PhD students and contribute to lab management and dissemination activities.
Position 2 – WP1 & WP3 Focus (Selection Code: CDR_bio_2025_2_2):
- Design and construct genetic constructs for macromolecular switches.
- Conduct recombinant protein expression and gene modulation experiments.
- Utilize omics tools (transcriptomics, spatial transcriptomics, 3D chromatin capture).
- Participate in student supervision, dissemination, and lab support.
