Postdoctoral Researcher in Mass Spectrometry: The Division of Proteomics of Stem Cells and Cancer at the Zentrum für Infektiologie is seeking a highly qualified postdoctoral researcher with expertise in mass spectrometry-based proteomics. Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD in mass spectrometry-based proteomics.
  • Extensive experience in sample preparation and hands-on use of modern mass spectrometers and nano/UHPLC systems.
  • Proficiency in state-of-the-art proteomic workflows, including MS acquisition methods (e.g., DDA, DIA, PRM) and data analysis software.
  • Basic programming skills in R and/or Python.
  • Good analytical skills and a strong interest in advancing proteomic methodologies.
  • Knowledge of cancer biology is advantageous.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will:

  • Conduct proteomic experiments using state-of-the-art mass spectrometry and computational resources.
  • Engage actively in both experimental procedures and data analysis, improving advanced methodologies, including single-cell proteomics.
  • Work closely within an interdisciplinary team and collaborate with academic and clinical partners in the Collaborative Research Center.
