- MSc (or equivalent) in space physics, astrophysics, or a related discipline completed by the time of appointment.
- Strong interest in solar physics, space weather, or plasma modeling.
- Programming experience (e.g., Python or equivalent).
- Background in solar data analysis or simulations is helpful but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
Job Description:
The selected candidate will contribute to:
- Analyzing EUV observations (both on-disk and off-limb) and in-situ measurements.
- Modeling coronal magnetic fields for mapping magnetic connectivity.
- Running and interpreting one- to three-dimensional solar wind simulations to define new inner boundary conditions for global heliospheric models.
