Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Experience in cheminformatics and computer-aided synthesis planning
  • Proficiency in machine learning techniques
  • Strong understanding of process chemistry

Job Description:

  • Conduct research focused on tailoring retrosynthesis tools for process development and route selection.
  • Involve knowledge extraction from scientific literature and develop quantitative scorecards for pathway ranking.
  • Design models and heuristics for estimating synthesis criteria.
  • Collaborate closely with industry partner Sanofi on relevant projects.
  • Engage in ongoing research threads related to generative reaction mechanism prediction and tandem mass spectra prediction.
