Eligibility/Qualification

  • MSc in Physics (Medical Physics experience preferred)
  • Strong academic record
  • Background in medical imaging and/or image processing
  • Fluent English (spoken and written), documented by qualifications (e.g., IELTS, TOEFL)
  • Basic programming skills (Python, MATLAB, or C++)
  • Technical proficiency, scientific creativity, teamwork, and experimental skills

Description

The project aims to develop protocols for image-guided brachytherapy, integrating real-time navigated needle insertion using infrared and AI-based technologies. Candidates will work on AI-based needle tracking and 2D-3D image registration, designing optimal imaging protocols for interventional radiation therapy. The position offers opportunities for algorithm development, data collection, and validation in a multidisciplinary, international team. Women and disabled candidates are encouraged to apply.
