PhD and Postdoctoral Positions in Theoretical Chemistry – University of Fribourg, Switzerland: The Theoretical Chemistry Group at the University of Fribourg, led by Dr. Stefan Vuckovic, invites applications for two fully funded PhD positions and one postdoctoral position in the field of quantum chemistry and machine learning. These positions are funded by an ERC Starting Grant and the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF). The research will focus on the development of next-generation density functional theory (DFT) methods to address strong electronic correlation, noncovalent interactions, and their applications to challenging catalytic and biological systems.
