Eligibility/Qualification
- Master’s degree in Hydrogeology, Hydrochemistry, Civil/Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Geosciences, or related fields.
- Highly valued skills:
- Hydrogeological/hydrological/hydrochemical assessment and modeling (e.g., FEFLOW, MODFLOW, SWAT, PHREEQC)
- Geographic Information Systems (ArcGIS, QGIS)
- Remote sensing
- Scientific writing
- Excellent communication skills in English (both spoken and written).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary, international team.
Job Description
The selected candidate will engage in:
- Fieldwork, water and sediment sampling, and laboratory analyses.
- Numerical modeling to enhance understanding of anthropogenic impacts and contaminant dynamics within sensitive saline hydrogeological systems.
