It was known as RIT Jamshedpur and established on August 15, 1960, to train young engineers for the country’s economic growth. NIT Jamshedpur is situated in the western part of the city of Jamshedpur. The Kharkai river and beautiful hills on one side, with forests on the other, create an ideal campus for learning and research. The campus covers an area of 341.30 acres. Eligibility/Qualification–
| Essential Qualification | Ph.D in VLSI design or related discipline / M. Tech having 3 years of experience in VLSI design, EDA tools (Cadence, Synopsys and Mentor Graphics), RTL coding, physical design with research paper. |
| Preferable | Experience with chip tape-out and IC testing. Applicants with GATE score will be preferable. Experience / Software / Skill: Experience in Hardware security, Functional safety in Industrial IoT, Product design and testing. Knowledge of RTL coding and VLSI EDA tools. |
