Research Area
This position focuses on the measurement and modeling of diffuse scattering to investigate local structure and correlated disorder in advanced materials. The project also includes ultrafast femtosecond science and the development of relationships between local order and material properties.
Job Description
The successful candidate will have:
- A strong background in materials crystallography, particularly in the measurement and analysis of diffuse scattering.
- Experience with the 3D-DPDF method.
- Preferably, experience in writing scientific software.
Responsibilities will include conducting measurements using local and large international facilities and contributing to software development.
