Eligibility/Qualification

Postdoctoral Research Associate

  • Extensive experience in plant genomics and plant-microbe interactions.
  • Experience in greenhouse work, bioinformatics, microbial work, and fieldwork.
  • Strong ability to collaborate and mentor students.

PhD and MS Positions

  • Self-motivated with at least one year of research experience.
  • Experience in molecular/microbial work, fieldwork, and statistical computing (e.g., R).
  • A genuine interest in plant-microbe interactions or related themes.

Job Description

Postdoctoral Research Associate

  • Conduct fieldwork in coastal marshes, collecting environmental data and plant tissues.
  • Characterize genomic variations in host plants and levels of endosymbiont colonization.
  • Collaborate with researchers from partner institutions.
  • Generate, organize, and analyze datasets; assist with community outreach projects.
  • Mentor and train university students.

PhD and MS Positions

  • Engage in research aligned with lab themes on plant-microbe interactions.
  • Use emerging technologies in research and explore independent projects.
  • Participate in fieldwork and laboratory meetings.
