Eligibility/Qualification

  • Candidates must have received their PhD (or equivalent) generally after September 1, 2016.
  • Applicants must qualify as early-career scholars and will be appointed at the rank of Visiting Research Scholar.

  • Candidates must be employed outside the United States, with a faculty appointment or professional research position.
  • All fellows must return to their role at their home institution once the fellowship ends.

Description

The Fung Global Fellowship invites six exceptional early-career scholars from around the world to engage in an academic year of research, writing, and collaboration focused on the theme “The Politics of the Archive.” The fellowship promotes intellectual exchange, enhances research skills, and provides resources to support innovative projects in the social sciences and humanities. Fellows will participate in seminars, present their research, and interact with the broader academic community.
