Description
The CIRCASUC project explores the role of the metabolite succinate in synchronizing circadian rhythms with metabolism through its receptor, SUCNR1. The selected candidate will conduct experiments integrating animal models, in vitro systems, and human clinical cohorts to understand the succinate/SUCNR1 axis and its dysregulation in obesity and type 2 diabetes. This PhD position emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration within the DIAMET group, focusing on translational biomedical research.
