Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD degree in physics, signal processing, computational imaging, or a related field.
- Interest in method development and experimental problem-solving.
- Experience with large-scale imaging or computational image reconstruction is advantageous.
- Willingness to engage in hands-on work at the beamline.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across disciplines.
Job Description:
- Acquire and analyze a benchmark dataset of brain tissue supporting large-scale neuronal circuit reconstruction.
- Design and implement acquisition strategies that maximize measurement efficiency and data quality.
- Support the reliable operation of the LaMNI endstation, including utilizing a new high-speed detector at Swiss Light Source (SLS 2.0).
- Contribute to prototyping and validating data processing pipelines.
- Plan, execute, and troubleshoot beamline experiments.
