Eligibility/Qualification

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Academic background in physics, engineering, or a related field
  • Successful completion of a PhD
  • Profound practical and theoretical expertise in OPM-MEG
  • Excellent programming and computational/statistical skills (e.g., generative modeling, machine learning)
  • Excellent writing, communication, and time management skills
  • Interest in working in a highly interdisciplinary environment
  • Collaborative spirit and team player attitude
  • Proficient in English

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience with programming languages Julia and Matlab
  • Development of open-source software
  • Familiarity with neuroimaging analysis packages like SPM and/or FieldTrip

Job Description

The successful candidate will conduct theoretical and experimental research aligned with TNU’s research agenda. Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and validating novel OPM-MEG methods
  • Focusing on motion robustness, naturalistic paradigms, and integration with VR/AR
  • Contributing to the supervision of PhD and MSc students
  • Engaging in teaching activities

The position is initially funded for one year, with potential for extension, and the ideal start date is December 1, 2025 (negotiable).
