Eligibility / Qualification:

  • Ph.D. in Biology, Biophysics, or a closely related field (recent graduates preferred).
  • Proven experience in advanced fluorescent imaging and quantitative image analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve scientific problems independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong skills in scientific communication and writing.

Job Description:

The selected postdoctoral researcher will:

  • Investigate phase separation mechanisms that regulate plant cell immune signaling and membrane morphogenesis.
  • Employ cutting-edge techniques such as super-resolution microscopy, single-molecule imaging, membrane biophysics, and computational modeling.
  • Work in an interdisciplinary environment, integrating machine learning, synthetic protein engineering, and plant pathology approaches.
  • Contribute to ongoing research projects, develop independent research ideas, and collaborate with both experimentalists and computational scientists.
