Eligibility/Qualification

  • Completed Master’s/Diploma degree in Biology or a related field.
  • First experience in scientific writing and molecular-genetic research methods.
  • Strong IT user skills, with proficiency in tools like MS Office and Photoshop.
  • High-resolution confocal imaging experience.
  • Basic programming skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Drosophila genetics.
  • Strong ability to explain research methodologies and findings.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of academic processes and structures.
  • Teaching experience in courses for Master’s students.

Job Description

As a PhD candidate, you will be involved in:

  • Planning and executing empirical studies.
