Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Communication Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Documented experience with deep learning techniques (CNNs, Transformers).
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch).
- Experience in working with time-series data.
- Good understanding of the Internet of Things and wireless communication networks.
- Strong publication record relative to career stage.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with explainable AI methods.
- Experience in collaborative, cross-cultural research environments.
Job Description:
- Conduct research related to semantic representation and reasoning on time-series data.
- Design and implement Edge AI for real-time analytics and decision-making.
- Create energy-efficient, low-latency communication strategies.
- Publish high-impact research and contribute to outreach and dissemination activities.
- Participate in the NUEI (Nordic University Collaboration on Edge Intelligence) project seminars.
- Co-supervise bachelor’s and master’s thesis projects.
