Bloomberg Data Science Ph.D. Fellowship: The Bloomberg Data Science Ph.D. Fellowship invites exceptional Ph.D. candidates to apply for funding and mentorship for groundbreaking research in various areas of data science. Recipients will be supported financially and through a structured internship program.

Location
Bloomberg Headquarters, New York, with potential internships in London or Toronto.
Eligibility/Qualification
- Must be a full-time doctoral student during the 2026-2027 academic year.
- Expected Ph.D. graduation date in or before the end of 2029.
- Must remain a full-time enrolled student throughout the fellowship.
- Required to attend the academic year kickoff event each fall at Bloomberg Headquarters.
- Complete a 14-week paid summer internship for each year of the fellowship.
- Cannot be funded by any other industry fellowships during the Bloomberg fellowship.
- Self-sponsored work authorization (e.g., F-1 OPT) is required for internship eligibility.
Job Description
Recipients will receive:
- Full tuition coverage.
- A stipend of USD 45,000 for living expenses and research-related costs.
- Mentorship from experienced Bloomberg professionals.
- A 14-week paid summer research internship focused on their research project.
