- Academic Requirements:
- A minimum of a 2:1 undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in Geography, Biology/Marine Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, Geology, Environmental Science, or an appropriate Master’s degree.
Job Description
The selected candidate will:
- Analyze sediment records from High Arctic lakes using diatoms and other proxies.
- Investigate environmental changes over both shorter (Anthropocene) and longer (Holocene) timescales.
- Contribute to understanding anthropogenic impacts in the High Arctic while providing a palaeoenvironmental context for High Arctic archaeology and forecasting future environmental changes.
