Job Description:

  1. PhD Position on Plant-Pollinator Interactions:
  • Conduct fieldwork, genetic lab work, and data analysis.
  1. PhD Position in Theoretical Ecology:
  • Develop a self-directed research program in interaction with faculty members.
  1. PhD Position on Ecological Machine Learning (bAImo project):
  • Build an AI system predicting insect abundance using machine learning methodologies.
  1. PhD Position on Ecological Machine Learning (BaySenseAI project):
  • Create a multi-modal AI system integrating various biodiversity data and sensors.
  1. Scientific Programmer/Data Scientist:
  • Support statistical data analysis, curation of ecological datasets, and software maintenance primarily using R.
