Eligibility/Qualification:
- Master’s degree or diploma followed by a PhD in biophysics, biology, biochemistry, or a relevant discipline.
- Strong motivation for interdisciplinary research combining physics, biology, simulation, and data science.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills.
- Proficiency in Python and C++.
- Experience in simulation sciences or wet-lab work is advantageous but not mandatory.
Job Description:
As a PostDoc, you will be an integral part of a collaborative project focused on the “Sexing by Self-Propulsion” (SEB) technology. Your responsibilities include:
- Developing a quantitative model to describe and predict sperm motility under various conditions.
- Performing computer simulations and correlating them with experimental data.
- Collaborating closely with experimental groups, including wet lab work.
- Merging experimental results, simulations, and relevant literature to optimize movement differences.
- Participating in conferences and presenting research results.
- Traveling to industry partners for on-site research setup.
- Preparing scientific publications and project reports.
