Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Master’s degree or diploma followed by a PhD in biophysics, biology, biochemistry, or a relevant discipline.
  • Strong motivation for interdisciplinary research combining physics, biology, simulation, and data science.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills.
  • Proficiency in Python and C++.
  • Experience in simulation sciences or wet-lab work is advantageous but not mandatory.

Job Description:
As a PostDoc, you will be an integral part of a collaborative project focused on the “Sexing by Self-Propulsion” (SEB) technology. Your responsibilities include:

  • Developing a quantitative model to describe and predict sperm motility under various conditions.
  • Performing computer simulations and correlating them with experimental data.
  • Collaborating closely with experimental groups, including wet lab work.
  • Merging experimental results, simulations, and relevant literature to optimize movement differences.
  • Participating in conferences and presenting research results.
  • Traveling to industry partners for on-site research setup.
  • Preparing scientific publications and project reports.
