Eligibility/Qualification
- Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Advanced English language proficiency is required.
- Experience in catalysis, materials, and inorganic/organic/analytical chemistry is highly desirable.
- Strong motivation for experimental research in catalysis and materials.
Job Description
- Design, synthesize, and characterize solid catalysts, including supported metals on metal oxides.
- Conduct catalytic processes for converting lignocellulosic biomass into fuels and chemicals within a sustainable biorefinery framework.
- Engage in advanced materials synthesis and structural & surface characterization using techniques such as XRD, XRF, XPS, SEM, and TEM.
- Perform catalytic testing in continuous fixed-bed and batch reactors with biomass-derived feeds.
- Investigate structure–activity relationships, reaction mechanisms, and catalyst stability under operational conditions.
