Eligibility/Qualification:
- A strong interdisciplinary background in ecology, forestry, systems analysis, and land use change.
- Experience and interest in systems thinking and systems analysis.
- Good understanding of ecosphere-technosphere interactions with respect to land use.
- Proficiency in quantitative modeling and data analysis.
- Experience in the quantitative assessment of ecosystem services and their trade-offs.
Job Description:
- Conduct independent research projects under the supervision of the principal investigator.
- Document and report progress clearly and proactively.
- Engage in dissemination and teaching activities.
- Participate in a dynamic research environment, potentially including a stay at another research institution.
- Prepare scientific papers targeting high-impact journals.
- Display strong analytical skills and competently interpret data.
