Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in bioinformatics, neuroscience, computer science, statistics, epidemiology, psychology, public health, psychiatry, or a related field
- Strong research track record, including at least two first-authored peer-reviewed publications relevant to network modelling and analysis
- Proficiency in programming (R/Python) for network analyses
- Strong analytical, organizational, and record-keeping skills
- Effective communication in spoken and written English
- Collaborative spirit and willingness to engage in teaching
Job Description:
The successful candidate will develop models that map how everyday psychological distress symptoms interact over time with a person’s activities, neurocognitive abilities, and life events to lead to depression. The role involves working on the project titled “Dynamic network modelling of depression: towards personalised treatment targets,” funded by the Lundbeck Foundation. The candidate will join a research group with expertise in clinical psychology, psychiatry, mathematical modelling, and statistics, led by Associate Professor Maria Semkovska.
