Eligibility/Qualification:
- Ph.D. in Chemistry, Material Science, Engineering, Physics, or a closely related field
- Knowledge in Material Science, Inorganic Chemistry or Heterogeneous Catalysis
- Experience in Electrochemistry (electrocatalysis, plating, corrosion) is preferred
- Excellent command of English; no German language skills required
- Demonstrated ability for interdisciplinary team work with high independence
- Outstanding academic performance with a hands-on mentality
Job Description:
The successful candidate will:
- Continue ongoing research on the preparation of novel catalysts based on mixed metal alloys at the nanoscale.
- Supervise one PhD student working on complementary topics.
- Utilize automated characterization techniques to evaluate catalyst performance, accelerating the discovery of new materials.
- Collaborate closely with international institutions and companies.
