Eligibility/Qualification

Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a catalysis or materials laboratory.
- Familiarity with solid characterization techniques.
- Strong teamwork capabilities and effective communication skills.
Job Description
The doctoral thesis will involve:
- Advanced synthesis of materials including supported metals and mixed metal oxides.
- Structural and surface characterization using techniques such as XRD, XRF, XPS, SEM, and TEM.
- Catalytic evaluation in fixed bed and batch reactors for converting biomass-derived feeds (e.g., sugars, lignin).
- Establishing structure-reactivity correlations to elucidate reaction mechanisms and conducting catalytic stability studies under operational conditions.
