Postdoctoral Fellow in Organic Chemistry: The Department of Chemistry at Stockholm University is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow specializing in Organic Chemistry to work on an interdisciplinary project focused on sustainable organic synthesis using heterogeneous catalysis.

Eligibility/Qualification
- A Swedish doctoral degree or an equivalent relevant degree from another country, completed no later than the employment decision date.
- Doctoral degree must ideally be completed no more than three years prior to the application deadline (older degrees considered under special circumstances).
Assessment Criteria
- Research skills in the synthesis and characterization of porous materials (MOFs, COFs, zeolites, etc.).
- Knowledge in catalysis, particularly heterogeneous catalysis.
- Experience in organic, inorganic, and/or materials chemistry.
- Proficiency in English (oral and written).
- Skills in analytical thinking, collaboration, creativity, initiative, and independence.
Job Description
The Postdoctoral Fellow will:
- Synthesize and characterize heterogeneous catalysts based on porous materials.
- Study catalytic activity in organic reactions.
- Conduct in-situ and/or operando investigations.
- Compare new processes with benchmark homogeneous systems.
This position is part of the Wallenberg Initiative Materials Science for Sustainability (WISE), promoting sustainable chemical processes and minimizing environmental impact.
