Description
The selected candidate will:
- Investigate the effects of swift heavy ion irradiation on the properties of materials for nuclear fusion applications.
- Design, build, and commission experimental setups for high-temperature irradiation experiments.
- Participate in swift heavy ion irradiation experiments and helium implantation campaigns.
- Conduct systematic Monte Carlo simulations related to fusion power plant conditions.
- Prepare, present, and publish scientific results.
