Eligibility/Qualification

Description

Malicious actors frequently exploit the Domain Name System (DNS) by registering domains for cybercriminal purposes. This project addresses the reactive nature of existing defenses by employing machine learning and graph-based techniques to proactively detect and flag suspicious registrations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Applying data science methods to uncover malicious behavior patterns.
  • Developing large-scale, real-time measurement systems.
  • Validating approaches with industry benchmarks.
  • Collaborating with national and international research partners.
