Job Description

The Glasstone Research Fellowship is a three-year postdoctoral position aimed at fostering original research within the Department of Engineering Science. Applicants should identify faculty members within the department to act as internal sponsors and are encouraged to conduct interdisciplinary research. Preference will be given to candidates at an early stage in their career who have not held independent fellowships before.

  2. Curriculum Vitae (CV): Including a list of publications and a brief description of research experience.
  3. Research Proposal: Outlining your research objectives during the fellowship (maximum two A4 pages, including bibliography) with a summary written for a non-specialist reader.
  4. Support Letter: From the hosting academic.

Additionally, applicants must provide details of three referees, with at least one being from the current or most recent employing institution.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a remote interview towards the end of February 2026.
