Eligibility / Qualification

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Master’s or equivalent degree in:
    • Biology
    • Biochemistry
    • Biomedicine
    • Or related life science disciplines
  • Strong interest in cancer immunology and systemic immunity
  • Experience with mouse models (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative research environment

Job Description

The selected PhD candidate will:

  • Investigate immune mechanisms linking asthma to reduced pancreatic cancer risk
  • Study immune reprogramming affecting pancreatic susceptibility to oncogenic KRAS
  • Work with advanced mouse models
  • Apply multi-omics techniques, including:
    • Single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq)
    • Spatial transcriptomics
    • Bulk transcriptomics
    • Systems-level data analysis
  • Collaborate in an international, high-impact research environment
