Job Description

The Postdoc will work under Dr. Klaas van Gisbergen in the Tissue Immunity Lab, focusing on understanding how T cells differentiate in response to local cues in solid tumors. The primary aim is to leverage this knowledge for the development of effective cancer immunotherapy strategies. Responsibilities include:

  • Planning and designing experiments.
  • Supervising co-workers.
  • Writing research manuscripts.
  • Presenting data at national and international conferences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate the role of tissue-resident memory T cells in immune defense against cancer.
  • Utilize advanced techniques such as in vivo models, flow cytometry, and transcriptional profiling.
  • Conduct multidisciplinary research combining neuroscience, tumor biology, and immunology.
