Job Description
The Postdoc will work under Dr. Klaas van Gisbergen in the Tissue Immunity Lab, focusing on understanding how T cells differentiate in response to local cues in solid tumors. The primary aim is to leverage this knowledge for the development of effective cancer immunotherapy strategies. Responsibilities include:
- Planning and designing experiments.
- Supervising co-workers.
- Writing research manuscripts.
- Presenting data at national and international conferences.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate the role of tissue-resident memory T cells in immune defense against cancer.
- Utilize advanced techniques such as in vivo models, flow cytometry, and transcriptional profiling.
- Conduct multidisciplinary research combining neuroscience, tumor biology, and immunology.
