Research Area
This research will focus on engineering the stability, activity, and substrate scope of alkene dioxygenases (ADOs) through advanced high-throughput screening systems and computational enzyme design, utilizing data to train AI/ML models.

Eligibility/Qualification
- Completed Master’s degree or Diploma in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or related engineering disciplines.
- Experience in experimental studies of proteins/enzymes.
- Background in biocatalysis and synthetic chemistry.
- Excellent English proficiency (written and oral).
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently.
- Candidates must have resided outside Austria for more than 12 months in the last three years.
