Eligibility/Qualification
- Master’s degree (M. Sc.) in Economics (or equivalent) with a final grade of “good” or better.
- Very good knowledge of general quantitative macroeconomics and applied econometrics.
- Familiarity with growth theory, development economics, labor economics, and international economics is desirable.
- Excellent command of English; knowledge of German is an advantage.
- Interest in research, teaching, and pursuing a doctorate.
Description
The role involves:
- Conducting research relevant to the chair’s fields of interest.
- Participating in further scientific training (Central-German Doctoral Program).
- Teaching courses for Bachelor’s and Master’s students.
- Mentoring students on seminar papers and final theses.
- Providing administrative support for departmental activities.
