Eligibility / Qualification
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Master’s degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related discipline
- Strong experience in polymer processing and characterization, especially solution-processed conjugated polymers
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
- Strong proficiency in English, both written and spoken
Desirable (Merit-based):
- Experience in organic electronics and/or fiber spinning techniques
Job Description
The successful candidate will:
- Conduct independent doctoral research in polymer fibers for wearable electronics
- Develop and optimize fiber spinning processes for conducting polymers
- Characterize mechanical properties using techniques such as tensile testing, dynamic mechanical analysis, nanoindentation, and atomic force microscopy
- Integrate fibers into wearable electronic devices (e.g., fiber-based organic electrochemical transistors)
- Publish research results in high-impact peer-reviewed journals
- Present findings at scientific conferences
- Contribute approximately 10% of working time to departmental duties, primarily undergraduate teaching
- Collaborate with academic and industrial partners in Sweden and internationally
Contract Terms & Benefits
