Research Area

The focus of this research will be on exploring complex structured matter waves, studying novel mechanisms for their generation and measurement, and investigating the underlying physics of electron and ion beams.

Eligibility/Qualification

  • An internationally recognized PhD degree in quantum physics research, ideally in the field of atom physics and matter waves.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills.
  • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Matlab, Python) is highly appreciated.
  • Knowledge in quantum foundations, matter waves, and atom physics is advantageous.

Job Description

The Postdoctoral Researcher will work within a vibrant research group. Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting high-level research on structured matter waves.
  • Collaborating on quantum optics experiments.
  • Assisting in supervising Bachelor, Master, or PhD students.
  • Contributing to teaching tasks in an international and collaborative research environment.
