Eligibility/Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • PhD or MD with extensive training in:
  • Retinoid biology
  • Vitamin A metabolism
  • Nuclear receptor signaling
  • Closely related fields
  • Strong background in:
  • Molecular and cellular biology
  • Animal models
  • Relevant omics technologies
  • Evidence of scientific productivity and potential for independent research.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with:
  • Single-cell high-throughput methods
  • Metabolomics or lipidomics
  • Demonstrated interest in translational research and biology of pancreatitis or inflammation.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will:

  • Design and execute innovative research on retinoid biology in pancreatitis models.
  • Lead and interpret data from mechanistic experiments, including organ physiology, genetic models, and omics profiling.
  • Collaborate on multidisciplinary projects involving clinical samples.
  • Present findings at internal meetings and conferences.
  • Prepare manuscripts and grant proposals.
