Eligibility/Qualification
- Master’s degree in (Civil) Engineering, Construction Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain/Logistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
- Strong skills or interest in:
- Reverse logistics and circular supply chains in the built environment
- Business model analysis and multi-stakeholder governance
- Simulation and modeling (agent-based, discrete-event)
- Data modeling/interoperability (ontologies/semantics)
- Decision-support systems and prototyping
- Empirical research (case studies, interviews, co-creation)
Description
The PhD candidate will work on designing and evaluating regional hubs for reclaimed infrastructure materials, contributing to workshops, consortium meetings, and living lab projects. The role involves a multi-actor research approach with various industry partners and municipalities. Successful candidates will contribute to scientific outputs and practical tools aimed at reducing emissions and improving material reuse.
