Research Area:
Focus on understanding neurodegeneration in Multiple Sclerosis through single-nucleus RNA sequencing and spatial imaging techniques.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD degree in Molecular Cell Biology or a related field.
- Strong motivation and scientific drive.
- Affinity for neuroscience.
- Expertise in bioinformatic analysis and cell culture (especially human iPSCs) is advantageous.
- Good oral and written communication skills in English are required.
- A flexible, team-oriented, result-driven attitude.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will investigate the mechanisms prompting neurogenesis within MS lesions by:
- Analyzing single-nucleus RNAseq data.
- Generating spatial imaging and transcriptomic profiles at subcellular resolution.
- Exploring receptor-ligand interactions involved in OPC-to-neuron transformation.
- Replicating neurogenic processes using MS-iPSC-derived oligodendrocyte precursor cells (OPCs).
- Correlating findings to neuropathological and clinical disease parameters.
