Research Area:
The postdoctoral fellow will be involved in the CIHR funded Zika Virus (ZIKV) Individual Participant Data (IPD) Meta-analyses Phase II project, assessing the risk of congenital malformations, fetal loss, child mortality, and developmental issues due to ZIKV infection.

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, or related field within the last 5 years.
  • Expertise/interest in Bayesian methods for addressing measurement error.
  • Advanced experience with R; knowledge of Nimble and Overleaf is desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency in English (written and oral).

Job Description:
The successful applicant will:

  • Develop a plan to address measurement error in the ZIKV-IPD-MA-2S study.
  • Collaborate with faculty from McGill and the University of British Columbia, as well as WHO experts.
  • Create statistical models and prepare statistical analysis plans.
  • Present findings and prepare scientific manuscripts related to the study.
