Eligibility/Qualification

  • PhD degree or equivalent in bioinformatics, molecular biology, statistics, medicine, or a related field.
  • Strong training in statistics, data processing, and/or bioinformatics.
  • Completion of PhD within the last three years preferred, with exceptions for special circumstances (e.g., illness, parental leave).

Job Description

The postdoctoral researcher will:

  • Work independently and collaboratively with a focus on data analysis of health records, risk factors, genetic data, and conducting research on alpha-synucleinopathies.
  • Engage in preparing research manuscripts for international peer-reviewed journals.
  • Utilize statistical software (e.g., R, SPSS, PLINK) for analysis of genetic data, brain imaging data, and health-registry data.
  • Employ statistical methods such as regression analysis and epidemiological methods to investigate the causes and effects of neurodegenerative diseases.
