Eligibility/Qualification
- Must hold a PhD.
- Not currently reside in or employed by any institution within Europe (Council of Europe member states).
- Must be connected to a research center with funding through one of the specific calls mentioned.
Job Description
The appointed researcher will:
- Establish themselves in Norway, contributing significantly to the research community.
- Collaborate with fellow researchers and institutions to enhance academic quality and foster international collaboration.
- Participate in activities associated with the selected research center or project funded through either “Researcher Project for Experienced Scientists (FRIPRO)” or “Top Researchers – Researcher Projects to Develop World Leading Research Communities.”

Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis until funding is no longer available. However, the earliest permissible project start date is 01 January 2026, and the latest start date is 01 April 2027. The latest completion date for projects is 31 March 2030.
