Description
The studentships are for a duration of 3.5 years, providing a generous stipend of £23,195 per annum (2026/27) along with home fees at UKRI indicative fee levels. Research expenses are also covered (£4,000 over the 3.5 years) for consumables, conference attendance, and travel. Students are encouraged to explore projects beyond their immediate field of interest, contributing to the interdisciplinary nature of Convergence Science.

- Autonomous sensing and tracking under severe uncertainty
- Resilient terrestrial timing infrastructure using deployable optical atomic clocks
- Convergent nature-based solutions for sustainable farming
- Trustworthy multimodal agentic AI for precision oncology
