Research Associate: Cardiff University is inviting applications for a highly motivated and passionate Research Associate position. This role is part of the UKRI-funded Future Leader Fellowship project investigating epigenetic regulation of lung fibrosis, led by Dr. Renata Jurkowska. The successful candidate will contribute to innovative research on low-input epigenomic profiling technologies.

Eligibility/Qualification

  • Postgraduate degree at PhD level in a related subject area (e.g. epigenetics, chronic lung diseases, lung biology) or equivalent industrial experience.

Job Description

  • Conduct research within the Epigenetics of Chronic Lung Diseases.
  • Develop and apply epigenomic profiling technologies.
  • Engage with industrial and public sector organisations to raise the School’s profile.
  • Prepare research ethics and governance applications.
  • Attend and/or present at conferences.
  • Contribute to funding proposals and oversee postgraduate research students.
