Eligibility/Qualification

  • Essential Qualifications:
  • PhD in neuroscience, cognitive science, psychology, biomedical engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong experience with neuroimaging (diffusion MRI and/or fMRI).
  • Demonstrated expertise in quantitative data analysis.
  • Strong programming skills (e.g., Python, MATLAB, R).
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English.
  • Strong publication record appropriate to career stage.
  • Desirable Qualifications:
  • Experience with white matter tractography or network-level analyses.
  • Familiarity with multivariate or dimensionality-reduction techniques.
  • Experience in collaborative, interdisciplinary projects.

Job Description

As a Postdoctoral Researcher, you will lead advanced preprocessing and modeling pipelines, including tractography, connectome construction, and neurotransmitter-weighted network modeling. You will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing reproducible analysis workflows.
  • Contributing to hypothesis development.
  • Supervising junior team members (PhD candidates and research assistants).
  • Coordinating data integration across large-scale datasets.
  • Collaborating with computational neuroscientists, clinicians, and international partners.
  • Advancing theory at the intersection of variability, connectivity, and language function.

You will work closely with Dr. Stephanie Forkel (PI) and contribute significantly to the Donders Network, fostering a collaborative and rigorous research environment.
